I’m basically a beginner at playing golf, and I would like to get into it, I have hit a few on the range but I would like to take a few lessons from a PGA pro. Would it be better to take lessons from those simulators that you see at your local golf outlets? or would I better off with an instructor on the course

I just recently started to putt around with my parent’s golf clubs and started to get interested in the sport. So my mom said she would sign me up for golf lessons which I’m excited for. But the one problem is I don’t know really anything about this sport. Any advice, tips, or definitions of golf terms?
Thanks

onestrokeover.com Enjoy an easy golf swing lesson! Ever tell yourself you’d be happy if you could just hit your driver farther than your 9-iron? That used to be was me!

I want to buy a driver for my 20 year old brother for his birthday. I am looking to spend around 0, he is a lefty, and relatively new to golf, through he is taking lessons to improve. I would like to get him a good driver, not a beginners one (if there is such thing) but I know absolutely nothing on the subject. So I was wondering what would be a good driver to buy? I don’t care about brand… Any help would be much appreciated.
